Our story begins with our founder and Managing Director, Carlos Ruiz, who officially established the company on August 1st, 2017.
After completing his Associate Degree in Computer Science with high honours at Houston Community College, Carlos sought after new business opportunities within Houston that he could pursue. During this time, he started training and working as a part-time real estate photographer, influenced by a close friend.
By August 1st, 2017, Carlos had developed strong knowledge and gained valuable experience in real estate photography and decided to start his own company, Pic2house, which would later become Visualize. Not long after, pressured by the crisis that Texas faced after Hurricane Harvey, Carlos decided to dedicate himself fully to the development of his new company.
From then on, Visualize expanded rapidly and the team began to grow; first with another photographer to help Carlos fulfil the demand of the business, and later on with the creation of the Editing Team in March, 2018.
As of January 2021, we are a core team of 7 people, with plans to expand. We have worked with over a thousand clients and partners within the real estate industry in Texas. We have also become members of Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) and have nurtured and trained our team members to become experts in their roles within the real estate photography industry. As part of our vision, we intend to continue growing and developing as a team in order to increase the quality of our work and expand to other areas across Texas and the United States.
Professional profile:
I have a degree in graphic design and I graduated from URBE in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Before deciding to study graphic design, I had started a degree in civil engineering, but after completing my fourth semester, I realised that my true passion was being creative. Influenced by anything that was out of the ordinary, I started to explore and be inspired by avant-garde graphic design, which eventually led me to become a graphic designer
Most of my professional life I have worked as a freelancer, and have worked with many incredible social media companies in different parts of the world. Each of these professional experiences have helped me grow as a professional and refine my graphic design skills.
I know you are probably wondering, “why go from graphic design to working in customer service in the real estate market?”. Well, when I was younger, I worked as a manager and a cashier at a clothing store, and during that time I developed a great passion for customer service and learned lots about customer relationship management. Working with Visualize, I get to use my charisma and positive attitude to help customers on a daily basis, and at the same time I get to be involved in the creative side of the business, assisting the company in its marketing activities. I am the techy lady behind the scenes, supporting Dan to carry out all of our marketing and CRM work.
Personal profile:
I love reading books, fashion and I’m a big fan of soccer (I used to play it lots as a child). From a very young age, I’ve been passionate about languages. Currently, I speak Spanish, Italian and English and I finally achieved one of my goals, which was to start a French language course. I also love traveling and learning about new cultures. As a child I used to dance flamenco in an academy, and although I don’t do it anymore, I still have a passion for dance and love going to any dance events.
What I like the most about working with visualize?
What I like the most about working with Visualize is that I get to learn a lot from the people I worked with (photography, editing, admin management, customer service, etc.). In addition to this, I also enjoy having the opportunity to learn about the real estate industry, which is something that is new for me.
Professional profile:
A singer-songwriter by trade, my journey started off by achieving a BA with honours in Music Performance at Kingston University, London. Straight after graduating, I decided to pursue a Masters in International Business Management with Marketing at the same university. I often get asked, “why did you make the leap from being a performer to doing a very business-orientated degree?”. Well, although singing is still one of my passions, I developed a passion for business from a young age, influenced by my mother’s career. That’s why I love working in marketing, I get to use both my creativity and intellect to create strategies and content that are all about thinking outside the box and delivering results.
My career in the UK has opened many exciting doors. I have been lucky enough to work with highly creative and innovative teams from a variety of industries; from academia, to travel and events, and even tech development. During the crazy year that was 2020, I entered the exciting world of Real Estate, as the Marketing and CRM Manager at Visualize, and that brings my story to now. I have found our team to be dynamic and fun – I’m learning lots about the real estate industry, and I’m enjoying getting my hands on lots of cool projects! I’m the British accent you’ll probably hear when you give us a call, and I can’t wait to help you with anything you need!
Personal profile:
I love writing songs, singing and dancing, and from time to time you might find me performing my songs in pubs and venues across London. I also enjoy travelling, hiking, and I love a good science fiction book. I used to be a competitive swimmer, and even though I do not compete anymore, I like to go swimming every now and then.
What do you like most about working with Visualize?
One of the aspects I enjoy the most about working with Visualize is being given the opportunity to develop and manage my own marketing projects to help the company achieve its marketing goals.
Professional profile:
I grew up in a family of musicians, so it is no surprise that from a young age I developed an interest in playing the violin, the guitar, and song-writing. When I was young, I was fortunate to study at a music conservatoire and to perform with different orchestras. During my teen years, I also discovered my talent for computer science and tech stuff, and later on decided to become a Cisco Certified Network Associate. Fascinated by the geeky tech world and the complexity of programming, I ended up enrolling in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Since then, I worked with different companies for a few years, supporting them with data management and network analysis.
After working on data management and network analysis for a while, I wanted to use my computer skills and knowledge to to learn and explore creative software and started to experiment with photo and video editing. Just a few months after, I got offered the chance to join Visualize’s Editing Team where I was given the opportunity to study and work further with creative software, such as photoshop and lightroom. So far, I’ve been able to work on hundreds of projects and collaborate with other editors and team members to respond to the regular demand of the business. I look forward to continuing learning new things working with the team, as well as enhancing and innovating the way we do photo and video editing.
Personal profile:
Above all, I consider myself to be a highly creative individual who loves to bring any cool idea or concept to life. I love urban and hip hop music, and you might find me spitting bars with my friends or song-writing and collaborating with other musicians. I enjoy going for a good run every now and then, and just like most techy people, I love gaming online!
What do you like most about working with Visualize?
The best thing about working with Visualize is being given the chance to work with a large variety of projects on a weekly basis. This has allowed me to continue sharpening my editing skills and to discover new techniques within editing software.
Professional profile:
My professional life is composed of three main elements: music, photography, and graphic design. I first discovered music at the age of seven, when I started to learn to play the piano and the violin. Now, I have been a trained musician for more than 15 years and have played for several orchestras and have taught music.
Apart from being heavily involved in music, by the end of my teen years, I discovered a new passion of mine, photography and graphic design. I took up work as a fashion photographer and a few years later, I decided to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at the University of Houston. Now, I am on the third year of my degree, and I am very grateful to be working with Visualize, a company that is at the forefront of real estate photography in Texas, whilst being able to continue with my studies.
Personal profile:
I absolutely love to travel and to take lots of pictures of cool places. During my free time, I usually enjoy painting portraits, watching movies, and spending time with my family and friends.
What do you like most about working with Visualize?
What I like the most about working with Visualize is the flexibility of the job and also being able to learn about another type of photography – real estate photography.

From a very young age, I developed a great interest in music and graphic design. Growing up, I had the chance to sing with several orchestras and musical groups and collaborated with many musicians. At the same time, I was always interested in creative activities, such as drawing and design. After graduating from school, I decided to refine my design skills by completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. During and after my degree, I had the chance to work with different companies in network system analysis, visual merchandising, and graphic design. These experiences allowed me to develop an eye for what is visually appealing, which has helped me greatly as a real estate photographer. Now I have been working with Visualize for a couple of years, and I must say it’s been an incredible experience where I’ve been able to use my skills and learn a great deal about photography!
Personal profile:
I love meditating in my spare time and enjoy drawing and designing things! I also like to go to the cinema as often as I can and spending time with my family and friends is probably my favourite thing in the world.

The best part about working with Visualize is getting to meet new clients from different parts of the world and cultures every day. I also love using my designer eye to make my photos look the best they can be.
Professional profile:
My professional background started a few years ago, when I achieved a bachelor’s degree in Law. After finishing my degree, I had the chance to gain valuable experience working in legal case analysis, court verdict research, legal doctrine, and other areas. Through my journey as a lawyer, I learned how to be highly organised and pay attention to detail, which is of great importance in the work that I do today with Visualize. In the past couple of years, I developed a great interest and passion in real estate photography, which is why I decided to join the team. I look forward to refining my skills as a professional real estate photographer working with Visualize, and ultimately, I hope that my work helps people find their ideal home or property investment. I pride myself on being a hard working individual, who’s responsible and committed to their job, and who enjoys learning and growing both personally and professionally.

Professional profile:
My professional life has completely been driven by my love for computers, my passion for music and creativity, and my curiosity for the art of photography. From a very young age, I was quite good with computers and developed a solid knowledge of programming and coding. Simultaneously, I developed an enthusiasm for music, and started playing the flute and the saxophone. Later on, I decided to complete an Associate Degree in Computer Science to further develop my computer skills, and during my spare time I kept on practising the saxophone, performing and collaborating with many other musicians across different venues and events in the US.
In 2016 I discovered my passion for real estate photography, and since then I’ve fallen more and more in love with it. It’s been a crazy journey and I can’t believe that the tiny real estate photography business I started by myself, has become one of the leading real estate photography businesses in Houston. Today, I am fully dedicated to combining my professional knowledge with my creative passion to support Visualize in delivering the best service.
Personal profile:
Overall I would say I am quite an outgoing guy and I love a good joke. In my spare time, you will most likely find me playing my saxophone at performances, taking my dog Mia for walks, or going on crazy adventures with my daughter and my partner. I have a big family and grew up close to most of my cousins and aunties, so I love spending time with them whenever I get the chance!
